Camping in Penticton

There are a large number of RV/Campgrounds in the Penticton Area.

The recommended one is the

Oxbow RV Resort
198 Skaha Place
Penticton BC
V2A 7L1
Phone: (250) 770- 8147
Fax: (250) 770-8145

A second Campground is

Wrights Beach Camp RV Park
4200 Skaha Lake Road
Penticton
V2A 6J7
Phone: (250) 492-7120
Fax: (250) 492-7125
http://www.wrightsbeachcamp.com/

Both these campsites are near Skaha Lake, which is in the southern part of Penticton.

To get to the Host Hotel from either of these campgrounds turn Eastbound on to Skaha Lake Road (Hwy 97) and follow it into Penticton. Just after the Oxbow RV Resort the road turns left (North). Skaha Lake Road turns into Main St. Main St. become a one way road going north, continue to the “T“. You have reached the host hotel

From these campsites it is approximately 6 Km or 10 minutes from the Penticton Lakeside Resort

Here is their offer...

Hello Mini Attendees;

We own a farm in Summerland, about 15 minutes from the Lakeside Hotel in Penticton where the above event will be held. Our '79 Mini lives at our farm and will definitely be attending this event.

We have a guest house at our farm as well as an area for camping that would accommodate up to four 26' self-contained RV's and any accompanying trailers. The guest house is normally rented as a B&B ($135/night) but we would make it available as a "no-host" location for $100 per night for this event. It is suitable for a couple, and can be viewed at www.bbcanada.com/9303.html The camping fee would be $35/night per vehicle with partial services (water and some power) supplied.

Our closing dates for reservations would be the same as the Lakeside Resort (April 28th).

As well, we are located on Bottleneck Drive, the Summerland Wine Route. It is a perfect activity for attendees to be advised of, being close by and very scenic, with some nice twisty back roads along the way. This route can be viewed at www.bottleneckdrive.com.

Finally, as you can see by our address, we are home of The Vinegar Works. We make wine, then actually take that wine and turn it into a lovely condiment - vinegar! Many people interested in wine find this connection very intriguing and as a result hundreds of them find our farm every summer.

Regards, John Gordon & Kim Stansfield
